Happy days

Created by Jean 2 years ago

I first met Karen over 30 years ago when she taught my children at Junior Church.

We were both members of The Chaddeans for many years, although she was famous for being fairy godmother in pantomines and I just organised front of house etc.

We soon built up a strong friendship.  When I saw her in Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham late August we reminised about how we spent the Millennium in The Thatched House, the shows she had directed and appeared in, our numerous holidays together (including 18 ladies on tour in Krakow - not sure if Krakow will ever be the same again), the parties and balls we attended and the millions of £ she had raised for charity over the years.

Karen brought happiness to so many people with her infectious smile and laugh.  Karen may be gone from our lives but her memory will live with me and my family for ever.

Jean & family.
